Older Events
Oct 16, 2007:
The brand new ordering system is now online! Shipping is now calculated much more accurately, and both Paypal and Money Order purchases are possible. There's also a teaser for the Elemental Axes intro story in the Products section. If you go to V-Con, stop by the dealer's room and say hi!

Oct 1, 2007:
The website is undergoing a number of significant changes (new buttons, woo!). The product ordering system is being completely re-worked to offer more options and savings to our customers. I'll drop an update when it's done.

Sept 24, 2007:
Elemental Axes update: EA Second Edition is complete and will be available for the first time at V-Con in Vancouver. (Link)

May 19, 2007:
Star Runners update: Space combat, redone from scratch, is almost ready for playtesting. If you are a gaming group local to Vancouver or Vancouver Island, and you'd be willing to do some tryouts, drop us an email!

Apr 12, 2007:
Elemental Axes update: A Vancouver gaming group that has been playing EA for quite a while has volunteered to playtest EA2. This will probably result in a flurry of activity on the mailing list...

Jan 1, 2007:
Well, once again, Happy New Year all! Looking over the news postings, I can see that it remains (as always) rather sparse. The reason is that I am not in the habit of posting every blow-by-blow change made to the systems... I'm erring on the 'less often but more interesting' side, rather than the 'today I fixed three more typos in the text' side. Trying to keep things at least a little interesting! :)

Sept 12, 2006:
Artist Matthew Dooher-Laveau (his site) will be working with me on Elemental Axes Second Edition. He's a welcome addition to the team. I've posted examples of his work in the Yahoo group.

June 30, 2006:
Work on Elemental Axes Second Edition has started, and there is a lot more material in this edition. I'm currently seeking one or more artists for this project.

March 23, 2005:
Star Runners update - the game system is really coming together. I have at least one great new artist on board - another one will be added shortly (as soon as I contact him). More details to follow!

Jan 1, 2005:
Happy New Year everyone!

Oct 1, 2004:
Sorry - Crosstime won't be at V-Con this year; the deadline for Star Runners has been unavoidably extended to the point that I won't have anything to show at the 'con. Next year though!

Aug 27, 2004:
Some small updates for the site to make it work more smoothly (mainly removed the big splash page that several people didn't like). Will be adding some more options and features to the online-order page shortly. As usual, please let us know if you have any suggestions.

Aug 25, 2004:
Managed to get hold of the V-Con people; the dealer's room is a go, so look for us there!

Aug 15, 2004:
Crosstime again hopes to be at V-Con this year - in fact, we're hoping to have Star Runners done by the time the con rolls around! However, we've been unable to contact the V-Con people about the dealer's room; if anyone has any information about this, please contact us!

Nov 26, 2003:
Have a look at the first draft of the new melee weapon design system that will be implemented in Star Runners. When I have a few submissions, I'll put them up on the site!

Oct 22, 2003:
V-Con was fun, we sold almost all the remaining copies of Elemental Axes, and got lots of (almost entirely positive) feedback on the game system... thanks to those who stopped by, and of course as well to the people who took part in the late-night sample adventure. Feel free to keep in touch!

Oct 9, 2003:
See us at V-Con 28 in Vancouver! Here's a link to the V-Con site, which has detailed schedule and location info. Hope to see you there!

Oct 7, 2003:
Fixed the Character Sculpting tutorial. Or more accurately, fixed the link to it. Thanks to those who let me know about it. :)

July 25, 2003:
Elemental Axes is also available on eBay! Click here for details.

July 22, 2003:
Updated the pricing on the order page; the shipping information wasn't correct so I had to fix that. Also allowed buying two books at once at a discount.

May 16th, 2003:
Work on Star Runners continues, the game is still in active development. There have been several fundamental changes to the game's dice systems, and I may be looking for playtesters/opinions in the later summer.

Mar 1st, 2003:
Finally got the website back in operation. Thanks to all the people who took the time and wrote in to let me know it was down. I'll have updates soon on the state of Star Runners, as well as a questionnaire or two. Also, does anyone have any favourite forum software that I could add to the site for those who wish to post comments?

Jan 7th, 2003:
Some problems with the site have cropped up; we're working on them and will have them fixed as soon as possible. Looks like PHP decided to take a snooze. Please bear with us!

Oct 5th, 2002:
A big 'thank you' to all the people who have come to the site after seeing us at the 2002 Victoria Comic and Movie Fest! As you can see, this site undergoes some (semi) regular updates, but if there's something you'd like to see here, don't hesitate to drop us an email!

Oct 3rd, 2002:
Spot in VCon has been confirmed (that's October 11-13 at the Plaza 500 Hotel in Vancouver), watch for us there! And we hope to see you this weekend at the 2002 Victoria Comic and Movie Fest in Victoria!

Aug 7th, 2002:
We tentatively have a spot in VCon 27, taking place at the Plaza 500 Hotel in Vancouver, October 11-13! See http://www.v-con.ca/ for more information.

Aug 4th, 2002:
The site is now up and running on the main Crosstime site (www.crosstime.bc.ca)!

July 29th, 2002:
Delays! So much for the ordering system being available "by the end of next week"... ah well! We now have success: the PayPal ordering system is up and running for Elemental Axes. Ordering online is now possible! If you have any problems with (or questions about) the ordering system, please email me.

June 28th, 2002:
The site continues to be developed - most of the Interactivity options now work, but the ordering system is still offline. It should be fixed by the end of next week. Thanks for your patience! In the meantime, sales inquiries can be directed to sales@crosstime.bc.ca.

June 25th, 2002:
Welcome to the newest incarnation of the Crosstime Website! I know the update has been a long time in coming - the interim site looked nowhere near as good as the original did - but finally it is up, using a PHP base instead of static HTML. As the next two weeks progress, I'll be moving the content over, including some new Interactivity options and more information on Crosstime's next RPG, Star Runners.

June 12th, 2002:
Crosstime Games will have a booth at the 2002 Victoria Comic Film and Movie Fest, which will be held at the GR Pearkes Arena on October 5th and 6th, 2002. Watch for us there!
